Summary
When choosing between two similarly-designed products, price usually becomes the deciding factor.
But with frequent price fluctuations on online selling platforms, the Husqvarna 460 and the ECHO CS-590 are often available at near-identical prices.
Both are exceptional products but you might want to go for the ECHO if a long warranty period is important to you.
If you plan to use your chainsaw for hours on end, the Husqvarna will give you better ease of use due to its lighter weight. Either of the two, however, would be a great investment on your part.
Had an echo 590 and an echo string trimmer, the chain saw went through 2 carbs in 5 years using the same fuel mix as the trimmer. There was no problem with the trimmer. I wouldn’t buy a 590 again. I should have stuck with husgvarna because I had the 61 for about 15 years.
